i'm sure that my boyfriend and family will get a kick out of seeing that picture -- i know i did! was it hard to get them not to crawl around while you were setting them up?

Glad you liked the photo.
That took about 30 seconds to set up and do so the little guys never got all worked up. Digital cameras sure make things easy.
It was really just a matter of putting a few hatchlings in the box and then placing the box top on as if they were ready to pop out.
The only drawback for me is that I still am having difficulty getting my photos in focus.

99.999% of the time, if i set junior down on anything, anywhere, he'll push forward as soon as he touches the gound (therefore i put him a step or two behind where i want him to be if i'm showing him food or something along those lines); he rarely stays still, so i'm impressed that the little buggers didn't get too squirmy. great job, and neat idea for the picture itself!
