Very, very stunning! How old is he? He looks to be somewhere between 6-10 months old...Once he reaches adulthood (if he already isn't an adult) he'll have beautiful yellows, blues, and reds! Gorgeous animal, two thumbs up!
Don't tell me you are afraid of Elvis, hehehehehe
It only hurts for a few seconds, hahahhahahaaa

The only problem is I have cat quick reflexes. My normal reaction when he bites is to pull away really fast. I don't want to injure him! The first time he bit me he came with my hand when I pulled away!
while handling me, LOL
My goodness they must scare the BAJEEBERS out of poor Elvis, ehehheheehe !

I've only been bitten a couple of times by chameleons, both times I was asking for it, both times I got PLENTY of warning, both times it was completely my fault. It was of a surprise than a pain thing the first time. The second time I was explaining to a future chameleon owner about how docile they normally are and how they give you plenty warning before they bite:
Me: Now, notice how this lil guy here quickly changed his colorations to almost black and how he's puffing himself up? He's not too happy. Oh! Look how he has his mouth open? That means he's not at all happy and wants.... YIKES!
*showing smallish bite impression to future chameleon owner*
And that's EXACTLY what you don't want to do if you want to avoid being bitten by your chameleon....

Actually it was the only time. And it was an accident. Very similar to how it happened to you. He is definately getting more used to me now. I am offering him my hand, more or less. I have never tried to grab him. He is getting better. I do not have near the experiance you do but I am learning.
And my relflexes ARE extremely quick!
