i was feeding another lizard i have and my iguana started chasing the mice. it ate some and i was wondering if there could be any bad effects from this. thanks.

hey, i wouldn't think there would be any bad effects.. I mean yeah iguanas are supposed to only eat plant matter, BUT in the wild.. im pretttyy sure every once in a while they eat something other than what they are supposed to. LIke maybe a live animal. The only thing i would be concerned about is the bones that would be left behind in the igs stomache... i dont know.. maybe you should seek expert advice. maybe melissa will respond to this and help u out... or call the vet..
