New U. Phantasticus

kungfu2811 Jun 19, 2005 08:10 PM

Hey everyone,
Im new here. Ill be recieving a pair of U. Phantasticus next week, and id like your opinion on how the cage should look. Id like to get one of those new exo-terra cages with the opening doors(www.reptiledepot.com has pictures of them if you dont know what im talking about), put a few inches of bed-a-beast in there, some corkbark pieces, a pothos plant, and a fake vine. What do you guys think?
On another note ive already collected some snails for breeding/feeding for my new geckos. Do your geckos ever eat mealworms and/or waxworms?
I have hopes that these geckos will produce eggs for me eventually.
Any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew

Actually, now that I think about it I have an old 30 gallon fish tank that I could use... so forget the exo-terra cage. Ill just use the old fish tank. lol

Thanks,
Andrew
P.S. Im the same person as kungfu2811, just changed my SN.

Just in case you might want an exo-terra tank one day (if your phants produce for you), here's mine (some outdoor tree branches, a pothos plant, some corkbark slabs and two fake foliage plants). They eat gut-loaded mealworms and I feed them crickets every so often to keep their hunting instincts sharp.

crickets should be your main diet.
