lightning bugs toxic to WTF?

are lightning bugs toxic o WTF?one got in my tank and my baby whites ate it.he tryed to spit it out but couldnt.

I know fire flies are toxic to chameleons, so i would imagine the same for frogs. Keep a close eye on him and provide him with plenty of clean water. When a frog absorbs a toxin through its skin, you should soak it in fresh spring water. Mayeb the same will help with this, too. Anyway, you may need to find a good herp specialist, so I would get one lined up now in the event that you need to make a visit. Hopefully, your frog will be able to regurgitate it, though.
