What makes a DP? pics!

I still don't know how exactly the traits are passed, but here is an example of one of the kids. This one is from my May 04 litter, growing like a weed. She is a beloved pet of my nephew Isaak. Isaak wanted a snake like Uncle Dave's and when I showed him this one he wasn't impressed. I told him that if it wasn't what he wanted in a year, I would buy it bak for double what he paid, and give him another snake."But she's so grey."
Not anymore. Now he is talking about future plans of breeding her to a hypo.(I picked him up a copy of the Boa Constrictor Manual).
Let me know what ya think.

Where ya been? Some of your DP's definately have the potential to produce "the perfect boa". For a Pastel variant, they have solid patterning and good color that you know will look good into adulthood. That ones got some interesting side-striping on the tail as well... all around very nice.

I have been hiding out for the most part. The female I had die this spring really did a number on my mindset. I have come to the conclusion that I can't afford to produce the fancy shmancy boas that everyone has, expecially if I have problems with my plain ones.
The lateral striping in the DPs is kind of cool. About half of the offspring from each litter have it, and the father has it. Genetic? Who knows? They look sweet anyway. Thanks for the compliments.
