Blood on shed?

Liann Jun 19, 2005 09:08 PM

My BP shed tonight and I noticed a little bit of red around the vent area of the shed, I'm assuming blood. Also the shed was torn in a circle around the vent area. The blood was around the edges of the circle. Any idea what would cause that? I'm going to give him a good look over tomorrow to see if I can see anything on him, but for now, he is in his humidity box. I check him out pretty thoroughly when I hold him and never noticed any problems around the vent area before. Ideas?

That's fairly common with shedding. Just make sure the vent area shed compltely - if it didn't, moisten the area down and gently peel off any remaining shed.

Thank you! I will check him out tonight and make sure that everything has come off.
