i recently discovered pygmy mice.they are, full grown, about the size of a dime,or an average pinky mouse size.i am going to try to feed them to one of my tree frogs.i think they may be a nice treat for a frog that is not yet large enough to feed on hoppers or adult mice, but shows no interest in pinkies.even if they will take pinkies,im sure it will be a lot more fun watching them be hunted instead of pinkies that hardly move.im not sure if i am going to try them on my redeyed or my whites.im sure my whites would take it,im a bit more curius about the redeyed.i think these things could be a lot of fun.they run around a lot more than pinkies and i bet even leopard geckos would have some fun with them.only problem is,the cheapest i have yet to find them online is about 7 bucks each.maybe ill do a bit more searching or try and breed them myself.

A pro-adult mice are more nutritionally balanced than pinkies
A con-feeding live adult mice is potential for injury to your frogs prior to the rodent actually dying. When feeding rodents, prekilled animals are the way to go; but of course this ruins your hunting fun. See this discussion in the ball or boa forums, as it comes up often.
