***INTRODUCING*** "The Crystal Ball"

Python Dreams Jun 20, 2005 07:08 AM

Well you can bet I was completely blown away when I saw this little head poking out of the egg. These are the results of breeding a "Mojave" to a "Special Normal". We're trying to track down some theories as to the genetics (other than the obvious) on this animal and it really might be a very lucky order of events to produce this one. I will update everyone once I get more information. The little one crawled out of the egg and those photos are simply amazing. I figured I would be a bit of a tease this morning and just give you the head shot. It truly is one stunning python!!!! I am kinda just messing around with "The Crystal Ball" name, and wanted to get some opinions on naming of this little one.
Thanks and I would love to hear some thoughts,
Tom Baker

Hey Tom,

Big congrats on hatching this little gem out! Possibly your special Normal was compatible with this gene? With Ball pythons you never know, that's what makes breeding them so much fun! It may definitely be a little premature naming it, wait till the more color comes in. Take care.

Best Wishes,

Tony
