help with hum. plz

i put my male ball on cypress mulch like 5 weeks ago and have been watching his humidy level and it is normaly around like 45-50 is that good but when i spray it down it goes to like 95 for like 30 mins and then down to 55 and during the night 45 till like 10 when i wake up. are these burst of 85% humidy ok or are they bqad for him, as for spraying is warm or hot or cold water better thanks for your help

What is your set up like - idealy you should be able to maintain a good humidity level of about 60-65% without a lot of spraying. Cypress mulch is a good substrate - I assume you have an aquarium set up? how big? Do you have a screen top? Are you using a heat lamp? If so how often are you running it? what are your temps? How big is the water dish? Your set up may require a bit of tweeking to get it stabilized.
