Behavior Question

LAF77 Jun 20, 2005 06:33 PM

The past couple weeks my little guy has tried to bite me when I went in to feed him. What makes it so odd is that I really lucked out and have a corn snake with a normally friendly, calm, temperment. I'm thinking it's because he is real hungary because I have been a little lax on feeding him the past three weeks (it's only been one pinkie a week -down from two pinkies every three or four days). Is that why? Might he/she be ready for fuzzies? Can it be anything else?

Thanks

Try giving your corn either more prey items or a larger prey item to see if he calms back down. My corns prefer to eat every 5 days. One pink doesn't seem like enough food unless your corn is very small. My little girl eats 2 fuzzies a week.
