***UPDATE*** "The Crystal Ball"

Python Dreams Jun 20, 2005 08:04 PM

I want to thank everyone for their support and the wonderful responses that this little gem has received. It has been overwhelming to the point of sleeping very little and after my post this morning I slept for quite awhile... I want to thank Ralph Davis for all his advice, and the comments he made about this snake were very humbling for me, especially coming from him. I also want to thank Camlon Reptiles for producing such a great "Mojave" and passing it on to me along with endless advice and help, even coming to my place when I needed it.
To answer some questions... I will not be posting any pics of the mother until I figure out what exactly is going on. I will be finding out the possible genetics on this snake later this week, hopefully proving my theory. Until then I can say its not a "Phantom" looking snake or a super blushing snake. I will update everyone soon.
David,
I believe it was you that wanted to know the ratios and so far it is 1 "Crystal", 1 Mojave, 1 really really nice "Mojave", and I think one that looks like the mother, but it is still in the egg. I will post pics of the light Mojave later tonight.
I hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Ok, everyone stop breeding their snakes for a little while and give me some time to catch up. Haha.

Honestly though, it simply amazes me. This little guy, the super cinnamon pewter...and who knows what else that is "cooking" is one of the BIG reasons I can't wait to breed...

Congrats!

One day I will have my name on a "unique" snake that I created.

One day...

what an awesome animal Tom! I can't believe it.. it's just soooo different from anything else we have right now.. color and pattern are both VERY different from anything else.

I just can't wait to see the rest of the clutch, and above everything else, I WANT TO SEE MOM TOO!!!

Best of luck with that project and do keep us posted with pictures after it sheds, before feeding, after feeding, when sleeping, when active... hehe just kidding!

Congradulations and like a past co-worked used to say "must be nice!"

Thanks for sharing the pictures!
Bristen.

That is one wicked snake - and I don't normally like the white ones but that little one is all irridescent silky looking! Definately the best morph so far this year! Can't wait to hear the genetics behind it! Congrats!
