Being banned from a board it not the problem here, the problem is
the principle of "why" I was banned. I was trying to convince someone to
seek Veterinary care for their Pit Bull, who had it's pad torn off, with
photos shown, during "rough playing" with other dogs who had hair missing
after the "playing". Yes, I am animal lover, and this smacked of dog
fighting, I am also a responsible Pit owner and lover. I am on the
management team at Petsmart, and when I saw a thread like this, which by
the way was titled, "Vulgar Dog", it upset me. This thread also had photos
of his dog humping another dog and those on the thread seemed to be just
thrilled with it. My responses were intelligent and informative, they were
not threatening or mean and there was no cussing and no way it could of
been taken any other way. This is a board that affiliates itself with all other Herp societies by it’s very name, therefore displaying that this is the caliber of people. I know better, as I know many in the Herp circle that are caring, great people, not everyone understands this, especially someone who may be just starting out in the world of Herpetology! These people called others idiots, cussed, made fun of other races….they pretty much run the gamete of low class. The “owner” of the board just deletes anything he writes of a negative nature….sometimes entire threads that could compromise him.
Aaaaaaanyway….that was my point
