first one looks like a real nice phantasticus
2nd one looks like maybe long-tailed ebenaui? hard to tell. i saw a picture a long time back in steven's (geckoholic) website pic gallery, looked exactly like this one. but you notice in the pic you gave that there are spines at the knees, at least. the body angle makes it hard to determine if the spikes are actually on the trunk. definitely a tough call there.
you trying to see some malama?
LOOK AT THE TAILS!!!!
hey mike doesnt your one juvie male have a more rounded tail at the tip.
yea, the satanic that i hatched out in february has a very round tail indeed, and it doesnt have the tiny elongated tip like most of em do.
with that first pic, jason, where the tail definitely looks bigger than the other, i think it's just the angle of the shot against the gecko's tail that makes it look peculiar. id be willing to guess that it's got a normal tail like any other satanic.
anyway, heres that offspring of mine that joe was referring to (i hope i picked the right one).
i would have to agree with mike. that second pic looks too small, and thin/elongated to be a satanic. but i'm sure if we had thousands of each species to look at we'd have everything in between.
That first photo is not a satanic. Not with a tail that is that long and rounded.
