i just saw my male jerking his tail and staring down the females, so i sat down for about 30 min to watch. after a lil while of no movement, i went to smoke a cigarette, and came back to the male mounting one female. then i guess he decided it wasnt gonna work with that one, and went to the other (more nicely patterned) female, and worked things out with her. saw him flush to an extremely pale ground color, and even tense up real bad when the time came. still locked up at the moment, i got a nice lil bit of video of some head shaking from the females.

not only that but i ended up finding another pair of eggs today, 1 day after my other female laid. i guess maybe their cycles are synchronizing? who knows. but in other news, i just made a rundown of my big phantasticus enclosure and found an infertile egg. looks like one of my red females might begin to cycle soon, and will hopefully give me some good eggs really soon!
