Feeding grass

What can I put on my grass to feed it to get it to grow better has too be something that wont hurt the tortoises .

I use Ringer brand Lawn Restore Fertilizer.

Its organic, made from chicken parts. A friend of mine has used it on his tortoise pens for years. I bought a bag this past Spring at a local garden store and it seems to be doing a good job.
