hey everyone most people know im looking to get a baby water monitor or an juvie. the one in the store i see is $200( it is a reptile breeder) this was someones pet who had to give him up, is her worth it, he/she is:
about 4 ft long
really tame
has like a half missing toe and on missing nail
nice solid body
has some shed on his tail
pretty thinck tail base
do you all think he is worth it, or should i bye a baby from a breeder like pro exotics or nerd

secound question is
for all you with big water how do your heat your tanks,
what type of bulbs
how many watts
how far away are the bulbs

and i want some people to answer and give a lil reason why
which do your like better an black throat or water monitor?

bc it is bettween those i can house and feed both(not together one or the other)

Do you think it is worth it?
"I" would rather invest $200 in another argus but that is just me. It's what you want and want out of a monitor.
If you think it is a good deal, then what we think is beside the point.
If someone else posted this question how would you respond?

i know what your saying, like when i see him/her in the cage he takes his water dish and trys to balance it on his back and just makes me and my mom and the 2 owners for the store watch his cage and laugh, i think ill go with him unless i see a diff one come in smaller and as tame as him, also,

is there a good book on the care of water monitors, like i know of sav. and nile but havnt see any water ones,
