Dwarf and other monitor choices, what to get...

DRep Jul 14, 2003 12:58 PM

Hello. I recently posted about Timor monitors because I was interested in purchasing a pair, but after I read what others had to say about their shyness and such, I may not do so. Does anyone have any advice on interesting and not too difficult monitors that aren't too large? They don't necessarily have to be a dwarf species (I have ackies, and have looked into Kimberlys, but they are out of my price range), but I would like them to be at or under (about) the 2 1/2 to 3 foot range. As stated in my rpevious post, tameness is not that large of an issue, however, I would like the species to not be so shy that they will hide whenever I am in the room. Any info or advice on a species recommended would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
-Dan
