I bought my pastel male a little while ago... He hasn't had his first shed yet.. He was hatched out on June 3rd.. I haven't seen him go into blue yet either.. Is it normal for them to go so long without shedding for the first time?? I just don't want it to go too long without him getting a meal down his throat.. Thanks in advance..

Joe,
He should have shed before he was sold to you. Was he sold to you as feeding? They go into their first shed not long after hatching. I would offer him a meal now and wouldn't worry about it yet. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot, I'll go ahead and feed him... Nope, he wasn't sold as feeding, but I got him from a local friend, and if I have any problems, he'll take care of me. Thanks again
