hey everyone,
I'm not much of a lizard buff so these guys have me baffled. A buddy of mine's brother has these lizards in his backyard in Coral Springs, FL. They are about 7-9 inches long (some are larger, some are smaller) not counting the tail. They have large eyes, flat bodies, and snouts that resemble a crocodile’s. The friend's sister is a vet and told us they were called Cuban emeralds. I can't find anything out about them or anything by this name. Is there an alternate name for this species? Just curious because we wondered if someone's breeding project escaped and has taken up residence in his backyard. Thanks for any help?
Aaron
