Private Dinner?

Nuggan Jun 22, 2005 01:26 AM

My Leos are usually pretty tame and even seem to like being picked up and removed from the tank sometimes, but recently I've noticed that if they are eating or if they have just eaten they dont like me near them. If I place my hand in or near the tank at these times they start shrieking their little heads off and running all around the tank. Also, they have started attacking the tongs I have occasionally used to feed them. Is this normal behavior, or do my leos simply prefer a private table?

My leo's never do that.

Although Feonix, me new little albino I've had since March, seems to think that my pinky finger is just one giant wax worm. Yeah he likes to run after it if I am feeding him, instead of eating the ones I have readily available in his bowl.

Some leo's like it when no one is around to watch them eat. My other leo will only eat if I'm not in the room or if I am sleeping (since she's in my bedroom). She'll eat at like 2 in the morning so yeah leo's can be strange.
