Strange Mojave --- Sibling to the Crystal ----

Python Dreams Jun 22, 2005 04:32 AM

This little one popped out that is a sibling to the Crystal Ball. It is a very light Mojave... Little bit funky... Let me know what you think....

Why didn't you take a belly pic? If it's not a Yellow Belly cross then why not show the belly, and the belly of the strange Mojave sib as well, those of us with YB's and Mojaves would like to know , either way I really don't think the YB x Mojave cross will be a white snake , instead it will be some form of combo snake, hence the reasoning ALOT of us are having about your Crystal Ball.. If your the only person with this "Special" gene then you don't have anything to lose by displaying the belly, if you don't want people to look at them closely then why bother posting pics for the public to see!!! Isn't that what the Forum is all about, informing others as to what they are doing/seeing, perhaps I am off base but I doubt I'm the only one who feels this way! You can bet if my "special" clutch hatches out Ivories or whatever they are I'll be posting pics of them as soon as I know they are healthly and presentable, I'm not holding anything back, it's just not my style! Anthony,
I have no problem showing the belly pic of this snake, it is just that I have very little room on my hard drive. For about the last month I have not been able to defrag my computer due to not enough space in my hard drive. I have other projects, outside of reptiles, that involve pictures that are taken in a RAW format and I have got warning propmts with the last batch of pics I down loaded. Just before I read this I was going through deleting photos that I do not need to free up space and I will be transfering picture project and photoshop to my D drive. I also want to set up the path to send photos to my D drive and free up my C drive. My brother also informed me of problem with XP freezing if you completely fill your hard drive and that I would maybe lose my information. This would be devastating to my other project. I really do not have to much computer knowledge other than posting photos and playing games... I would actually be very happy if this is a yellow belly Mojave (which you might picture one looking like) and I will try and post a belly shot today. The mom does not look to be a yellow belly at all, but it could be one of the things that make her special and more of an ingredient than the answer to the Crystal. After looking at the belly of the Mojave it doesnt have the typical look of the yellow bellys Ive seen, but does kinda have that weird coloration as opposed to white. Also, Im sure their are plenty of Mojave X Yellow Bellies cooking right now, so if I thought that was what made up The Crystal, I would say it, and it will be proven shortly when the eggs of others hatch. Thanks for the interest and sorry for such a long reply... I will update photos on the light Mojaves belly later today.

Thanks Tom for taking the time to tell us all this.. I understand your very busy as many of us are and can relate to your situation /frustrations with computers as we all have some degree of that! I'm just trying to figure this out like everyone else is! Best of luck whatever it turns out to be, I look forward to seeing some good belly pics and maybe even a nice close-up where the sides and the belly meet! Take care Tom, Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles.

I have just taken quite a few shots that will hopefully represent the belly well... I will post later tonight after I hopefully free up some space on my hard drive...
