I'm going to be a mom again :O

niki_athena Jun 22, 2005 10:05 AM

I think I am 5 weeks pregnant. Baby hasn't giving me morning sickness or craziness, but very picky eating and little tummy aches. I wonder if Annabella feels like eating crickets will make her sick like eating meat/beans sounds to me. I've been feeling very preoccupied from thinking of anything interesting to say on the forum lately especially because it was unplanned.

Later,
Nicole

Orange stripes and extra calcium on your meals . . . gotta love the guys on this forum

Congratulations!!! Make sure you raise that baby to love lizards as much as we do, okay? I've got mine pretty well hooked, and she's only six--gotta start 'em young!

This will be my first human baby. I think it wouldn't have came along if I showed my gravidness with orange neck bars.

The children's book will probably be higher on my list of priorities because I'll probably leave my job after the baby. Working at the hospital pays well if you don't have child care needs.

Sometime in the future I'll probably be babyproofing my home.

My husband and I like herps, so baby probably will too.

More news, my husband says I can be the mom of a neglected bearded dragon if I want. The mom's son wasn't taking care of it. Then when she was going to give it to me a few months ago, he said he would but hasn't. She's been somewhat responsible for feeding it, I don't know what condition it really is in.

That is wonderful!!
Just signed on to the forum. This my first pair of GCL's (male and female).

I think I need some help, here is my posted message:

Hi! Perhaps you maybe able to help me. I have two Green collard lizards (male and female). The female is pregnant and has been for about 30 to 40 days. She will not eat either. She appears to fine but stopped eating about 6 days ago. The only info I can find is that she carries the eggs for about 20 days and then they take 2 to 3 months to hatch. My concern is the longer time she is holding the eggs and not eating. I keep the tank at about 85 degrees.

Just thought you might have some insight.

Thank you.

Patrick
