When I put crickets in her cage and then put my hand in there she bites at me and then she makes a loud noise. Is that normal? I just thought she didn't want someone after her food (like i'd eat it anyways). LOL!

Usually leos wiggle their tails when they chase after food. My leo "talks to me" when he is upset with me. I noticed the only times he does this is when I have him out of his cage and after I will I pick him up to put him back in thats when he makes his little chearping sounds. I figure he knows that he is going back in and he doesnt want to. When I first got him he would be more vocal for any reason. If I put something in his cage or moved things around. He use to jump at my hand to try an attack it when I first got him, whihc is normal for most leos when they are not use to u. Your leo is just probably trying to protect what is his.
Nothing to worry about.

Thanks! She doing a good job at protecting the water bowl from everything, even the crickets. I'm happy with her though, she eats like crazy. She is eating about as much as my monitor. LOL! I like how they shake their tail before they eat.

Yes, it is exciting to see. Sometimes when he (Winky) walks he remindes me of an alligator or crocidille.

LOL!! There fun to watch. I sat down there an hour today and watched her eat and waly around. She will be getting a cage mate next month and a new cage later this week. Had to move the hamster out of the big cage and I am getting some astro turf for substrate.

Make sure you quaratine your new one for AT LEAST 1 month just to make sure she isnt sick!
