traveling with a beardie

jchance Jun 22, 2005 01:27 PM

My son has a 2-year old very healthy male bearded dragon. Our family is moving from California to Kentucky. What would be the best way to travel with him? My husband is driving out with our Saint Bernard and lab, and I was planning on flying out with our cat and the beardie. Will he be okay on the plane, or would it be better for him to take a 4 day car trip? Thanks for the input.
Julie

When I travel I put mine in a shoe-box size plastic container with a heatpad on the bottom. She is fine with it. Beware that he may not eat regularly because he is getting used to his surroundings!
