I have been offered several long haired guinea pigs, Id'e hate to turn them down, biggest G.P.S I have ever seen. Before I decide, I am concerned if the long hair would cause problems. Any opions? would be appreiated.

If you are worried about the extra hair, just give them a hair cut before feeding.
Guinea pigs are great Boa-food, but the danged things are so personable I can't feed them off!
I share your concern over the big hair-ball. Shearing them would be a mistake, I think.. the hairs then have an un-natural sharpness..
BTW.. if these things are from Peru.. why are they called Guinea pigs?
