Looks like some species of Psammophis, maybe Psammophis schokari.

probually some type of whipsnake or racer. but i know for sure it is completely harmless, tell em to get it out of that cooped up jar and let it go!

Not sure if you are serious about getting it out of the jar?

That is a venomous species of colubrid from either Africa or Asia, from the genus Psammophis, they can cause some unpleasant symptoms in people.
