first let me say to Shaky and Steve..
Shaky those are absolutely beautiful bairdis. excellent.
Steve, showing some exceptional color for '04. can't wait for updates!!!

Now...my 3 bairdi eggs hatched today!!!!!
These hatchlings are huge. I bet they could easily start on fuzzies.

and here is a comparison pic of one of the bairdis with a two day old creamsicle.
It doesn't really show in the pic but the bairdi dwarfs the cream

Nice lookin' animals! Actually, you do get the perspective from the pic, especially once it is pointed out to you. Congrats! :D

Congratulations. How'd you get them to breed so early in the year?
Yeah, since the eggs are quite a bit larger than those of corns, I expected the babies to be as well. I would be very surprised to find that they couldn't handle a fuzzy right away.

Man, it looks like they are carrying a nice supply of yolk. Don't be too surprised if they dont eat right away for you. They can probably go a month or more before getting hungry.

The first hatchlings of a great ssp. Glad to see them. They look like there is already some color on them. Congrats.

That's awesome Jimmy. As good as your adults look, those babies are going to be some real gems.
