Hopefully someone can help out with this.

I purchased a Suriname Horned Frog about 2 months ago and he has not eaten as well as his cranwellian counterparts. He only eats about once every 2 weeks and even then it is only crickets. He is about 3" long.

The problem I have noticed with him is that he seems to once in a while open his mouth and there is this big pink thing coming out of it, then he will swallow it back down. Is this is stomach? I have no idea why he does this but the thing that is pink is pretty big, it fills his mouth. My other pacs have NEVER done this before...any ideas? I may have to take him to the vet if I can't figure this out...

Well nevermind, he died this morning. I wasn't particularlly sad because I sort of expected SOMETHING after his recent bouts of not eating and inactivity. Just wish I knew what that pink thing was and why he died.
