im still having a problem with eggs ( looked water logged ) helpppp

i took them out to let them dry a drop and they went back to white,then i put them back where they were not touching the medium and the next day they were gray on the bottoms again so i have taken them off the mediumwhile still in the basket and put a container of water next to them to cut the humidty some but not completley any ideas would help alot

oh i candled them and they alllllll have veins

How did you set up the eggs originally, what medium, did you mix it with water, how much?I don't know what to tell you but this is what I would do.I would mix a new batch of vermiculite one to one ratio with water.When you squeeze it together it should clump but there should be no excess water dripping or on your hands.I would place the eggs in the vermiculite inside a closed box(air holes in sides)place it in the incubator and leave them alone.When are they due to hatch?Maybe they are grayish looking from the medium that you are using....More info.

when placing eggs in a shoebox using vermiculite as described above i also place a length of 2 x 2 under one end of the box. this helps as the water condenses on the lid. it wont drip down directly onto the eggs. it runs down the lid to the side and back into the substrate. this method seems to be helping alot this year for me.
