I looked closely at the frog in the picture and it looks like a cross between a green tree frog and a gray tree frog. It has the body shape and white stripe of a green but the color of a gray.
What do you think?
FYI, this was a wild frog.

Could be a green tree and a barking tree frog. It has the "dumpy" appearance of a barking. Cool pic.
Where did you find it? what state? It almost looks like a pacific treefrog. THey can have huge color differences. I have seen some green, gray, brown, goldish, and black. And sometimes all the colors combine, or certain ones, to make interesting patterns. I'm not familiar with eastern treefrogs, so that's my best guess.

I have no idea what's going on. It's more fun that way.
The frog is at Tuskegee National Forest in Alabama, so I doubt it is a Pacific Tree frog. That would probably be more unusual than a hybrid!
