About a year ago I ran across an unusual colored eastern garter. He was a medium reddish brown with high yellow sides. After he shed yesterday I noticed that his color had changed drastically. Where he was high yellow he was now a pinkish caramel color. He's still very pretty, but is it normal for his color to change like that? I mean he is well over a year old, just seems odd that he would change at his age. (By the way don't laugh at my butter bowl hide, it works!)
