Is it the scent?? I just picked up some new CH baby females, and they took rat pinkies no problem.. Is it the rats with hair that balls don't wanna eat, what is it?? Is it a good thing I started them on rats?? Thanks

It's much easier if they start out right from the start on rats. Switching foods for balls can be tricky as they tend to be picky and get accustomed to one food source(my mouse eater refuses to even look at rats). Rats are definately the way to go, I'd say. Two of my 04 balls are on rats and the other on mice. The one on mice is a little older and weighs 100g less than the smaller rat eater and 350g less than the larger rat eater and the only reason he is close to the smaller one is she is a picky, inconsistent eater.
