Play time with Autumn

AbsoluteApril Jun 23, 2005 10:17 AM

My b/f caught me hanging out with Autumn last night and snapped a few pics.. I adopted her in 1998. She is now 16 years old and going strong...

She had her first and so far only litter of babies in 2003 (34 live, 1 slug, 1 stillborn) and it's true what they say about mothers staying darker.. her entire body used to be lighter like her head still is. Took this shot after the play time while I was cleaning her cage... then she got 2 f/t large rats, what could make for a happier snake?

I know she's just a big normal but she was my very first boa and the first one is always special. thanks for looking,
-April

16 years old?!? I hope that I look that nice when I am of equal age. LOL! She looks VERY similar to our first boa. Except your girl's tail is quite a bit redder. You are right about the first, because our girl is surely queen of our collection. Thanks for sharing, April!
