I have these little yellow tongs that I drop wax/meal worms into the tank with. My female now recognizes that those tongs mean food and follows the tongs whenever I use them. But yesterday as I was pulling the tongs out of the tank she jumped and took a flying bite at the end of the them.
I bought some waxies and at feeding time I dangled them from the end of the tongs. Much to my surprise and delight she she sprang up and snatched them with great height and accuracy.
It's amazing because she used to be so skittish at one point, that she wouldn't even eat if someone was in the same room with her.
