I have went through a couple snake hooks now and it seems that they just arent heavy duty enough for big boids. I need a good hook that is capable of handling adult boids 5' and over. (I have a female thats pretty nasty). I ordered one from big apple but it is meant to be a field hook and just didnt cut it. What do you guys use? Anyone recommend a good one and from what source?

I bought a cheap walking cane cut a little off and sanded it a little works good is plenty sturdy and wasn't expensive. I don't remember how much it was but I got it at Jewel/Osco
