Weird Breeding

Hola

earlier today i saw my 1 green anole outside. He was mating with a brown anole though. ive never seen this so i caught the female and shes in her own 10 gallon tank. Has this ever happened to any1 or seen it happen? and if u had what will the babies look like?

While Anolis carolinensis and Anolis sagrei might mate (a very rare occurrence) they will not produce viable eggs. They aren't genetically compatible.

you prolly just saw a green green anole and a brown coloured green anole mating, green anoles can change colours to be brown

no theres only 1 green anole in the whole yard and thats Big G and he was mating with a brown and i have her in a 10 gallon tank now and im prety sure its a brown
