Local Pickup?

I live in OKC which is home to many professional breeders although not many good petstores. I would like to aquire a normal baby female and was wondering if it is a reasonable question to ask to pick the snake up at any location in the city rather than pay for 30 for a 40 dollar snake to ship it 2 miles. And also the next herp show is in
october. THANKS

I say yes as small breeder and I don't mind people coming by and picking things up and talking shop for awhile however picking up a $20 snake and getting the grand tour and taking up two hours of someone's time does not always go over well with some of the bigger boys. Just food for thought, I'm sure most of them would not mind you coming over to pick something up to save on shipping, but be curtious and not take up there entire afternoon.

Oh I agree I could see how selling a normal is like picking up a nickle off the ground for some big breeders.Thats while I feel strange asking. But im not requesting to meet the breeder or even go to the shop just pick up.
