I saw your ad and wondered why you referred to them as Borneos. They look like "reds" properly know as Python curtus brongersmai. It is impossible to say if they are from Sumatra or not but it is fairly likely. Borneos are much darker and rarely have any hint of red or orange. They tend to be brown, tan, gold and nearly black in spots.

Here is a picture of a Borneo. It shouldn't be hard to tell the difference.

You were almost right Rings.. Python Brongersmai, Python Breitensteni, and Python Curtus.... Their is no more Python curtus Brongersmai, Breitensteni, or Curtus. They were all reclassified as seperate species quite a few years ago.

Not trying to be a smartass, was just informing you.

Hey
The easiest way to tell a borneo from a red blood python is by the scales around the eye. If you look at your adult borneo it will have a small row of scales between the bottom of her eye and the larger scales above her lip, the new ones you got appear to be bloods so they shouldnt have those scales. The lip scales should go right up to the eye cap.
Hope this helps
Chris

Like Chris said the sub ocular scales are a 100% guarantee on the species. Of course if you ever are clueless as to what you have feel free to post pics and we should be able to identify it for ya!
