I assume these are parasites, Anyone know what kind?

I found these on the paper as they are shown. They are from the cage of an import that I prophylacticly treated with panacur and flagyl when I got her. She appears health and is gaining weight, as she was thin when I got her. I have owned her since mid April of this year.

A closer shot

I know that there is no replacement for a good vet, just asking for the experience of others.

Thanks,
Al

Are you sure it is a she? Those look somewhat like Sperm Plugs. They may be parasites, but usually they still have some characteristics like segments, or mouths/suckers that set them apart from stuff in feces.

While I did not probe this boa myself, I have a decent trust in the person who did. At the time I purchased the boa I had only read about probing and was not confident that I could do so without injuring the animal. Since then I have witnessed it several times and tried it on my son's ball python, poor guy. I guess it couldn't hurt to make sure she is not really a he!
