I am curious to see if it sounds fair. I would think most people with baby albinos would have baby pastels as well right? It would be a good deal for me I think since I have the pastels. If it sounds a little one sided what would make it a fair deal?

Price wise that seems like a fair deal. Both fetch about $2000-$2500, BUT, you have to think about breeding ease as well.
If you kept your female and bred it to another pastel, you can produce pastels and super pastels.
The albino is recessive, meaning you can only breed it to 100% het albinos or albinos to get more albinos.

You also have to think about what you want as well. Do you want an albino? if so, go for it. if not, then don't.

If it's an extra female that you can spare, I'd say go for it.
but that's just my opinion.

Actually I got lucky this year and produuced a few extra female pastels other than what I am going to keep for myself. I don't have someone that wants to trade me yet but I just wanted to be sure it is fair before I start looking around for someone who will.

female pastels are running 1400$ and up....
male albinos are running $1800 and up .........

........like it was said.do you want albinos and hets?.....

.....female pastel can be fed for a year then called an "adult " on the classifieds..even though it's not an adult.and sell for $2500 to $3500.............well...are listed at that.....

male albino can be fed for a year and called an "adult" even though it's not ...yet yes it will be breedable by then probably...and sell for $3000 more or less.....

as said......

male albino makes alot of $800 ( - ) het females.and $100 het males.........

female pastel makes just one super........you get $7500 and up.......*(or you keep a male super and make all pastels from normals......)

That if both parties feel that the end result is fair then its all good.
