The 2005 L.t. Multistratas are Here!

snakeyes Jun 24, 2005 10:13 AM

here are a couple of pictures (not the best but the best i could do) of some Cherry county NE. pale milksnakes produced at Snakeyes Herpetoculture this year. they are from a Brian Mason male to a Troy Hibberts female. i know it's probably hard to see but the second picture shows a pale with almost a complete red cap. not very common so i'm told. i have some other rare North American tringulum that i'll post after there first shed.
Enjoy the photos.

Stunning! What's your experience in feeding neonate pales? Keep the pics comming!

Yes!, How are they as captives? Mellow, hyper? Are the babies tough to get on pinks? Curious...never worked with them. Thanks.

Size, temperment, etc. are all locality dependent. Many western milks are known as lizard eaters, especially the young. I've seen pales from localities only 60 air miles apart here in MT that are as different as night and day. Animals from one locality are large and docile, while specimens from another are smaller and very "nippy". Great animals and a pleasure to work with either way.

Hey guys, Any chance in seeing pics of your adults and setups? Thanks

When I can figure out how to get my digital camera and computer to work together I'll start posting pics. Hard telling when that'll be though!
