get the same thing at Wal-Mart for a fraction of the cost. Look for Equate brand Bedding Spray. This is the exact same ingredients as the other, but costs about $6 a can. I've said it once and I'll say it again, they are the same thing regardless of what you've heard. To get approval from the FDA, it costs LOTS of money. Don't be taken.

brandon... for a while i was a biochemical engineering major... i went to one ofm y old professors recently and we're running tests on the equate vs provent a mite. so far weve discovered that they are the same makeup, but the elements are attached at different angles, which has the potential for multiple changes. we are still working on this, which is why i havent posted anything. i'll let yall know when we're done...but it IS definately a different product.

I've used the "generic" form of bedding spray and it's worked great. If they are infact different, I would bet it's not enough to make any difference. I used the bedding spray on an adult import aru that was covered in mites when it came in. I used one application and they were gone. I haven't seen a single mite since.....and that was 3 months ago. I'll continue to use what works for me and not buy into the hype. Good luck with the study and let us know what you discover.

Peace.
