With respect to parasites...might try this.

There is a product that is all natural called Parazap.
http://www.parazap.com/index.htm
You might read this and see if it is something you would consider using, I have read about this in a reptile magazine awhile back, it may be more combersome to use but it looks like it is a good natural alternative to meds. Obvosxuly if you have a serious problem that needs immediate attention then the meds might be the the best to use....I have never used the product but thought it worth throwing out there for your own consideration.....

I read the product information and it stated that parasites can be transmitted to people. How would this occur? Do I need to be concerned about my son, myself or our dog?? I don't have a clue whether or not either lizard has a parasite, but sounds like it's pretty common. How easy is it to transmit to other animals or people. Is this something to be concerned about?? Are there certain procautions to take??

Thanks!

I realize this post is a ways down ~ hopefully someone will read it!
