It's gotten so bad since Jody began his onslaught I cant even post the whole picture of my run of the mill Borneos anymore. I'm ashamed of them.
Anyway, to the point. You've all seen this girl before but as she is getting older and larger the color of her stripe is getting more intense yellow. I just can't seem to catch it on a camera. Her stripe is actually the color of a ripe banana and the ground has darkened to almost completely black. Of course is fades about 1/2 way up her body but it is pretty interesting up to that point.
Do you have or have you seen Borneos with a stripe that is this yellow? Wouldnt it be cool to selectively breed for a black ground and a yellow dorsal stripe? If the future of snake collecting is indeed blood pythons, then we are in the drivers seat. Where are we going?

Just for the record, my favorite borneo in my house, is a big old brown female named BabyJane. When this girl dies her hide will be on my wall forever. Looks are great, but the best snake, is a snake that makes you feel good. I think we all have a snake like BabyJane in our collection, or should...
