Has anyone ever thought of potting a dandelion or other edible plant and setting it inside the cage? I suppose the 'dirt' wouldn't be suitable, but if fine potting soil was used, and it was a small pot...
I'm going away for one day, and I was trying to figure out a way to feed the guy. His food dries out so FAST once it is in there, and he doesn't seem to like the dry iguana meal food at all. I tried wetting it down, but he just ignores it.
If I sprinkle it on his fresh greens, he won't touch the greens!
Any ideas?

If you're only going away for one day, your Uro will be fine with just some lentils and split peas or no food at all. They can go several days without food as long as they are healthy and well hydrated.
