Ive gone back and forth 3 or 4 times just between making these posts, lol.

Factors making me lean towards D50:
1. I have small/medium-small hands
2. Auto White Balance (see: http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/cda/review/2005/06/06/1651.html )
3. Less jpg post processing requirements

Factors making me lean towards D70:
1. More bang for buck
2. More versatile with more features
3. Better kit lens.

Hmmmmmm..... Hard to decide. Im going to call around and find some local places that has both in stock and get a feel for them ... see what I like best in person.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know much about cameras but that boa is one of the nicest redtails I have ever seen (aside from the ones in my snake room of course).Have a good weekend, Charles.-----RON

Things are getting pretty crazy with the wedding coming up. It's now Sunday and I'm still nursing a hangover the size of Kansas from my bachelor party which was Friday night. Been a long time since I had a hangover last 2 days. Well, I'm getting a little woozy again so I'm gonna go lay down. Talk to you soon.-----RON
