That's enough good finds for one year! LOL

Congrats. See, once again, you just had to get into the range I guess.

BTW - How many nights have you hunted this year (how many hours total) to find two alterna? Just wondering what people's "average" is.

Let's see. I have lived here approx 6 weeks. Did not hunt the first week, and Thursday night was the first I had hunted in a week. So let's say 4 weeks worth of hunting, Of which I hunted 3 weeknights and Fri, Sat. So that is twelve nights that I hunted till approx 12 (let's say 3.30 hunting time on those nights)=42 hours. Now Fri and Sats I have been hunting further west. But Let's add 3 nights of hunting till 4:00am (7 hrs)=21 hrs.

So two Val Verde Alterna in approx 63 hrs of hunting. Well I did find one fresh DOR in Comstock, so you could say 3.

The hog was better though!

Wow Rob...that thing is sweet!! I would have called you to wake you up too if I had caught that. I guess you couldn't have asked for a better looking pair this year. All your hard work over the last few years certainly paid off.
Shannon, Aaron and Jim D. should all be out your way in the next night or two. If you see them tell them hello for me.
Have a good one buddy and congrats again.

Shouldn't you be planning a wedding instead of playing around on here? lol. Thanks and I won't wake you up again. Ran in Jim and his cousin Fri night.

Man...you better call me when you find something cool, late or early. Christina will get over it, at least you weren't an ex..or Zapata Girl..lol.

I am speechless. The alterna morph you got was a knockout but
that one is a great blairs. The black head is nice too.

Congrats. 63 hours and I would say you definitely earned it.

How long are you going to live in the Val Verde area? Have you ran
into Troy H. yet?

Best Wishes,

Steven

Well I am not going moving again anytime soon. Moving a business and a house is a logistics nightmare, and I am just getting over this move.

BTW I have not run into Troy out.

Nice head shield. Congratulations. I'm told the key is persistance followed by luck when hunting alterna. You certainly got the persistance thing down! Now it is starting to pay off.
