I've Heard that calcium citrate was easy yo digest, and was willing to try this as somthing new. What top you think Citracal is calcium with d3 added. Anything else that might be better please let me know. Pictured in my big boy Foster a got from chris Allen. He by far is the biggest dragon I've seen personllay. Last month I put him on a green/veggie diet and he still is gaining weigtht. I do offer live foods every two days though because he's still rather young at 1 year old, and may still bne growing Is ther a possibility he's still growing he's 22 inches and 712 grams? Thanks for any info.

i dont know about the calcium but i can tell you that its possible that your dragon is still growing. I recently put carrick on a diet i thought maybe he was getting too heavy, well hes been eating only salad and pellets (with silkworms 2 times a week) and hes still just getting bigger, its been 3 weeks now, he was a year old in June and hes well over 500 grams, not as big as foster but seemingly still on the same path as him still getting bigger and growing faster even with a diet change. Guess they will stop when they are good and ready foster is beautiful by the way, i love big dragons

He is just 1 year this month 22 1/2 iches and still growong and putting on weight he's currenly 714 and still growing. I'm mateing him too a red/orange X snow that is 20 inches a nd 540 grams both on the larger side. I know for a fact that inbreeding is very low for this cross Chis Allen helped me trace it back to grandparents. I hope next year and in the future this line can add genetics to some that are adult and under 14 inches. I also have another gg X re/gold who is 19 inches and 600 grams that I plan on breeding to a hypo pastel to strenthen that line greatly, and in the futur breed the two offspring together for size, resistance to problems plageing todays beardies and offer new strong genetics to others breeders colonies. Wish me luck.

i would still be giving him his proteins, he still needs them, silks are great for a low fat diet thats very nutritious, as are the pellets in my opinion. that big guy definatly needs his proteins

I read on Melissa Kaplan's website that she personally used plain old calcium carbonate because it's the easiest to digest...

Hope this helps.
