Juno Road L. alterna

Nathan Wells Jun 26, 2005 01:11 AM

Here is a pic of a nice male light blairs I recently found on 5/28 while hunting along Juno Road in West Texas. He was found laying across the road, 3 miles south of Baker's Crossing, just as a massive thunderstorm had swept through the area.

Wow! For a guy from Florida, that would be the find of a lifetime for me.
Outstanding specimen.

Nathan, just as I'm dedicated to studying the Western Plains ratsnakes, you and your friends are dedicated to studying these kings in this area. I can appreciate any herp that is that interesting and studied. Gorgeous speciman.

sweet animal.........congratulations on completion of your locality pair. So what locality will we find you in next year?

Nathan Wells Jun 27, 2005 06:33 PM

Thanks Tom and again congrats on your success as well. Scoring a "hat trick" has got to feel pretty dang good. True, Val Verde is one of favorites but if you don't find me there I am usually in Sanderson or the Christmas Mountains. Hope to see you out there this next year. Take care.
